Robert Crockett was ambushed and killed by Cherokee in our county in Tennessee in 1769. His group was the first to be known as "long hunters" We celebrate his life and contribution to history on April 20th in Livingston Tennessee. Long hunter and native camps, colonial canoe race, longhunter kin reunion, street performers, hawk compititions etc.......
