Great site! Makes me long for Rendezvous. I miss my good friends. July is a long ways off yet. :boohoo:

Looking at pictures of where the doin's where actually held really makes a person think how it must of been all those years ago..... What an adventure it would have been! :winking:

Same thoughts here. Back in the 70's when in the old NAPR,(National Association Primitive Riflemen) we used to hold some rondys in or near the original sites. Living then in Wyoming it was easy driving to several.

It was a blast at night to sit up on a hill above camp with the lodges lit up like Japanese lanterns while watching like minded idjits dancing around the council fires. ::

I've attended a rendezvous not very far east of the original location in Cache Valley, Utah. Don't know if they still do it, but they used to do a rendezvous up at Hardware Ranch, up the Blacksmith's Fork from Hyrum. I had no idea it was that close to an original rendezvous site.

Beautiful country out there... seeing the photos made me homesick. Hopefully I'll make the move back out that way some time. I like the Carolinas... but I've got the Rockies in my blood, and it still calls to me.

Amen Pard...I too love the Carolinas...but when I read a post by Flaming Canvas about the Moon Of the Crow rendezvous (the 1st I ever went to) I was ready to put a For Sale sign on my little shop...pack my war bag and take I20 west. Oh well, one day.

Um... question: How is this topic not related to RMFT? Yes, the last post was not related, but the original topic IMHO certainly is... ::
