Took the 32 cal TC Cherokee out today.Yesterday the squirrels were sitting nice but at 30-40yds.Started hunting the farm and noticed the lower corn field was picked.Still hunted the woods edge up to it.Heard a cackle up ahead.Missed a 50yd shot as he flew to a large brush pile.Still hunted around that pile 3x till I finally saw him tight against a log inside.Used a .310 RB,.010 red pillow patch,Bear Oil,and 20grs of FFFg.

That was the beauty of those small bored guns. Have seen several turkey taken with Cherokee but you're the first pheasant plunker I've encountered. Bet he tastes even sweeter for the chase!

:hatsoff:

Congratulations!
Nice picture and surely a nice time out.

Nicely done! That is a fine story and a great photo. I have a .32 Crockett that I would love to use on pheasants or turkeys but, in Tennessee you must use a shotgun for both. Keep yer powder dry........Robin
