I am looking for a round barrel for a dueling pistol. Between 7/8 to 1" diameter, 10" or so long, .45 to .50 caliber. I am working on an inline design, although the styling will be along classical lines. Most of what I find for pistol barrel's for sale are octagonal's, nor do I want to pay an excessive amount.

I have a matched pair of .50 cal. that have been sitting around collecting rust. Will look for them and see what OD and length is.

If John's barrels don't work out for some reason, Gun Parts sells some that would fill the bill. www.gunpartscorp.com

found them. 50 cal with 1 in 22 twist 8 groove. 1.040" OD X 10.5 long, threaded for breach plug, looks like 5/8" thread. They are both marked with a felt pin to be 15/16 octagon for Track. Made by Orion Rifle Barrel Co. e-mail me at [email protected]
