So I was finally ably to get some quality time with my Type G, Built by Roy Stroh. As always, when you bring a flintlock to t he line someone is there to comment lol. However today went well, everyone thought it was neat and a couple asked to shoot it. Of course I said YES! Anyhow, I was able to get a pretty good group at 30 yards offhand... using .60gr 3F, .60 ball and 1/2 fiber wad.

Good looking group and starting point.

I usually find people are very interested and very respectable when I go out with mine.

I've already seen your Roy Stroh in a previous post, and I am still amazed at how wonderfully amazing it is. :shocked2:

It looks like one of those rare items that screams for you to pick it up and immediately gives you a grin from ear to ear!

Congratulations! :hatsoff:

Bill, this is the first gun that ive ever owned that can eat any load....with no adverse recoil. I've fired from 50-100 gr of powder and every time the recoil is most pleasant.... At 100 its firm....but completely , wonderfully managable...A true testiment to the design of the stock....
