Well it isn't a patch knife yet but it could be. I bought it years ago with that intention but all I've ever done with it is open letters so it's time to let it go. The 4" blade is stamped J. Russell & Co. Green River Works in 2 lines. The black portion of the handle, 3 3/4" long, appears to be some sort of synthetic material and I had intended to replace it with antler but you can do that now. The overall length is 8 1/4" and it looks like the blade was originally sharpened on only one side. At some time someone attempted to sharpen the blade but didn't go too far and I don't believe they caused any damage that matters. $45 $40 which includes shipping, USPS Priority. M.O. or personal check which I may hold till it clears.
