I've pick up a 69 cal Nathan Starr 69 cal musket. I need to clean out the rusted pitted barrel. I'm going to us it for living history and reenacting. It doesn't have to be perfect but good enough to clean with a jag without it getting stuck at the breech. Any suggestions?

wire brush and naval jelly to start. That'll remove the rust, and it depends on how deep the pitting is if you can get away using a jag or not to clean with.
