S.W. Virginia BP shoots?

Just moved to S.W. Va. , abingdon area , from Fl. , about 6 Months ago , and don't really know anyone here .

I would like to know if there are any regular BP shoots in this area , or if there are any BP shooters around here to shoot with.

Hey Doc I think you are going to fall in love with that area. I grew up not too far from there in Grayson county. There is a small club shoot coming up in Floyd county in a couple of weeks.
Go to Biglicklongrifles.com for more info. There is also another club shoot in early September in Wythe county. The Wythe county club is called Wilderness Road Muzzleloading I think. Good folks in both of these clubs. On the Biglicklongrifles web site go to the bottom of the page and see "scheduled events" This will give you dates and contact info for both of these events.

Looks like about an hour drive for you to the Wythe county shoot. Not too bad, I drive up from Winston-Salem NC. about 1.5 hours.

Hey there Haleh,

could you maybe send me a PM about those clubs? I have heard of the Floyd place but not the other. I live in Greensboro and usually drive 1.5 hours south to my club the Lafayette Longrifles. I'm always looking for new places to shoot and make new friends. :thumbsup:
