Due to the lack of posting on this topic, I would state that not too many do. We all know we should. About the only time I use them is at the range and when hunting in the snow. Other than that, I guess I take my chances.

It is kind of like riding horses, everyone should wear a helmet but we don't.

when using a cap rifle with copper caps like from RWS or CCI you don't need saftey glasses. No metal pieces flying arround. My expirience.

I wear the kind that have a yellow tint in them. Helps me pick out doves against the dark background when they are flying "nap of the earth" up out of the washes. I also think they help me find deer more easily... seems to make them stand out from the vegetation, especially at dawn and dusk.

Heck, yes! I only got one eye on each side of my nose; and I aim with the right one. :)

No, i cant wear shooting glasses because they mess up my eye sight and throw me off big time. I do wear my long ranger sight see'ers thought. Without them im as blind as a bat in day light.

I meant to say "while using a flintlock" but I've heard that some people do with caplocks too.
