Made another knife from a metal cutting saw blade for a camp knife for a friends daughter.

I like the "versatility" concept!

Wouldnt mind finding a chunk of that saw blade to play with. looks like its got enough depth to do some creative shaping.

you did a nice job

Turning into a regular knife maker ain't ya Lenn?
Not bad. May hafta see bout gettin you to make me a Bowie blade.

that knife is bigger -n-that motorcycle -i want to see the scabbard for it :hmm: nice job pitch but all your work is fine.

Nice idea. It's gunna do some work no matter which edge you put down. Looks good Lenn.

Thanks gents :) I like the shape of this one better, it`s wider and shorter. Blade is seven and handle is four inches.

Dang Pitchy that looks wicked

Thanks Rick, this girl i made it for is 13 and what a fire cracker. She is into archery and muzzle loaders. Her dad and i have been friends for many years and i was appointed God father.
Well i told my buddy i would take care of the archery and blade part and he could cover the muzzle loading part.
My wife gave her her 25 lb. Root recurve bow and a set of new arrows and i gave her one of the beautiful quivers that you made and gave me.
It was the back quiver, it fit her just right and she feel in love with it and i knew you would approve because it will be used and loved for a long time.
I`m hoping to get some pics later this summer of her shooting and dressed all up in her new gear.
Bringing a smile to someones face is what it`s all about. :)

Well done amigo .. knife work & the recruitment of the young lady! Lets see some ensemble photos soon! :hatsoff:

That`s great Rick and i understand about the pull, i find myself with tennis elbow now and pulling my 50 lb. long bow is a little hard.
Better to go low on pull then high imo anyway. :)

Pitchy that is beautiful.
That is the ultimate survival knife.
:hatsoff: :hatsoff:

I also need to spend more time with my Longbow.
Trying to set up a schedule of every other day,
24 arrows a practice session.

Has anyone thought about a separate section on Traditional Bow Hunting?

Thanks gents. :)
A primitive archery forum would be cool, i wonder how many people used bows for hunting way back during muzzleloader time?
You would think it would of been a easy weapon too come across for those that couldn`t afford a long gun.
