Forged this blade from some W1 from Glenn, This is a stick tang. Crown from an elk. Etched the blade in vinger , polished it up to 400.

Like your new knife a lot; you did a very nice job. It brings to mind something I am continually dealing with (probably a dumb topic): Where can one get good elk/deer handle pieces, sheds, etc? (I don't need a full rack, but just 1 or 2 good handle candidates). Everything I seem to run into has to be made of gold, as the prices seem extreme and are mostly total racks. Can anyone help me with a source(s) for antler pieces suitable for knife handles? I have tried local hunters who are always looking for sheds and have all turned into dead ends.

For me I go to the fle market and back racks from a guy there I also trade.
