curly maple,
:imo: if i were you, before you buy a case of
schuetzen i would get a 1lb can of 3fff and try it. :imo:
i dont think that schuetzen is worth the added exspence.
i have and do suggest you stay with goex :results:
:m2c:snake-eyes :peace: :)

my local gun shop i go to didn't have goex so i bought a pound of schuetzen powder and so far i'm pleased with it....no miss fires or anything....i'm just bout out of it now and i'll be driving to J%J pyro in moscow PA to buy bout 10 pounds of goex to have fer a while.................bob

I swapped from Goex last year after Friendship. It might all be in my head but I think it fouls a little less. For sure it is every bit as good as Goex in my book. :results:

I ordered a bunch of Schuetzen last year after trying it. It isn't as clean as Swiss, but a little better than Goex and I find Goex is ok. I will buy more Schuetzen when I need powder again and the product is as good as it is now.

Scheutzen is excellent powder, clean and shoots very well.I don't think I would be willing to pay more for it than goex.I have been using it for about three years but the next time I need powder it will likely be Goex unless the price of the Scheutzen comes down.

thanks for all the replies sounds like everyone likes schuetzen powder now i have found a place in arkansas that sells the goex for 9 bucks a pound and schuetzen for 8.5 bucks a pound but you have to buy 25 pounds that would last me a long time but the price even with shipping and hazmat fee is pretty tempting i still would like to try a pound but the closest powder is over 100 miles away and almost 20 bucks a pound.
