how many of us here wear glasses....how many of us here when we take our glasses off and look through a scope can see clearer....i know when i take my glasses off things still look blury in the scope....but looks clear when i have my glasses on and look through the scope :hmm: .............bob

I wear glasses...never saw a reason to take them off when looking through a scope. I haven't used a scope in a while now but I do take them off when looking through bino's. They always are blurry till I focus them, once focused, np.

I differ slightly. Using eye-glasses all the time but...take them off while looking through both bi- and monoculars. When using telescope on my rifles have the glasses one  .
ARILAR

I must be backwards Buffalo.Since I have got glasses I have gave up the use of scopes. :shake: I guess I'm trying to hang on to them years when my eyes was crisp and clear.Glasses in the deer woods are a bugger though what with them steaming up when on foot.On the upside though it slows my walking down some though.

i was trying to get some feed back on toby's view on scopes and ageing eyes to allow scopes in primitive seasons to see the targeted animal clear enough to shoot it....when i use bino's i don't use my glasses eigher but i don't refocus my scope on my .22 fer small game....cause i still need to see while i'm not looking through my scope walking through the woods :hmm: ..........bob

i cant figger how to use binoculars with glasses,,,have to take them off,,, :cursing: :cursing: :cursing:

I wear glasses. Need them even if looking thru a scope. Used to take them off with binoculars 'cause you could focus binocs, but that seemed to always be a pain. Learned to hold binocs just off my eyeglass lens. Field of view is reduced, but can focus and see without having to take glasses off and fumble around with them.

most bino's have rubber eye pieces that fold over to use while wearing glasses :v ...........bob

With binoclulars, they usually have separate focus rings on each eye piece. Just close one eye, and focus the other for you waring glasses. Then close that eye and open the other and focus that lens for you wearing your glasses. Simple. Do make sure the binoculars ar eopen wide enough so that you are seeing through both lens at one time. Aacth person's face is different, so if you borrow binoculars from someone, be prepare to open or close them for your face and eye width, then focus them for your eyes, with or without glasses.
