These pistols were issued to British Highland troops in the F&I Period and early in the Revolutionary war. As tactics changed due to the conflict, both the pistols and basket hilt swords were returned to stores. This pistol was imported by Navy Arms from Italy in the 80's I think and is an exact reproduction. It is much higher quality than the Indian/Pakistani examples offered today as I have experienced. It is a 52 cal smoothbore, no sights, and has never been fired. Sparks well. I am asking $550.
