Well the season in my zone in Jersey ended yesterday. The 45 t/c cherokee performed well for me with a kill of 4 deer and 1 miss. A tree jumped right in front of my bullet. 2 double lung shots,1 neck shot and 1 spine shot. It kept the tracking to a minimal. I would post some pictures if I was smart enough to know how. Hope all had a great season. Next venture is squirrel hunting with my cherokee 32.

Always sad to see season end, but sounds like you had a good one. Work screwed up too much of mine!!

:curse:

I'm definately looking forward to 2005...first will be Turkey hunting. Black bear opens in August usually...but again the weather at that time is too hot for me and I wait until September to bear hunt, as that's when grouse opens so I can go look for both at the same time.

Also looking forward to shooting my Jaeger all summer until it's season again. Me and Rosie the Jaeger will be like a well oiled machine by the time big game season opens again!!

And of course nothing but my laziness, and not having the Jaeger completely sighted in yet is keeping me from the coyotes. Actually it's all laziness as I could search for the coyote cong with my 1861 at any time. Heck I bet even Bloody Bess wouldn't mind taking a 'yote.
