Chicago, Illinois. NR Manufacturing in conjunction with Entropy Associates is pleased to announce their first offering for the muzzleloading enthusiast. Available in a completed model or in kit form, this fresh approach to a centuries old tradition is the first new look at a traditional firearm with all the conveniences of modern materials. Not one to shy away from historical traditions for mere profit, NR Manufacturing is offering this first ever INLINE WHEELLOCK to the market. This is the first in a series of innovative and radical new designs, bringing the convenience of modern workmanship to the tradional tools of centuries past.
What you will see from the outward appearance is a sleek and smooth firearm worthy of carrying the NR/Entropy name. The manganese and titanium stock is skeletinized to save weight, and is adjustable at the pressure-sensative gel filled butt plate for trigger pull length. The barrel is lined with EXtreeem Heeet* stainless steel to prevent corrosion and allow for almost no cleaning between uses.
Behind the scenes, the lock is the true genius of this new look at an old technology. Using a replaceable and inexpensive cigarette lighter mechanism and a single geared wheel to create a spark, the primer pan is fully enclosed under a lever-activated cover. Opening the pan cover automatically clears the flash vent and moves the wheel activation rod away from the wheel to prevent accidental discharge while loading. The cover is completely water tight, allowing for perfect ignition every time no matter the weather conditions.
The base model is provided with fully adjustable sights, and tested for accurracy to 300 yards. Available options include long range, night vision and laserpoint optics, laser-etched stock to look like fully engraved and inlayed maple, and a laser-etched barrel that simulates damascus steel so well that experts will be amazed.
Coming soon to a retailer near you, the Entropy 3000* Inline Wheellock rifle. Watch for our next innovative product... the NR3500, a modern recreation of the Arquebuse.
