Small doe fell to me last evening to a 50 caliber prb ahead of 80 grains of 3fg. Thats one for the boy, one for me. Its over. None too soon as below zero temps are coming. I am so glad that I own private land. It makes a difference. This is my fifth deer with prb and my son got his first with prb. fine eating in store this winter. Life is good. I have sworn off centerfires forever

Congrats! :thumbsup: I haven't used anything other than BP for years now and never looked back. This year I switched to flint and still don't feel under gunned. And I bet your having loin for dinner too huh.
