I have a Powder Horn that I like real well but the Finish on the Horn is a little Shiney or Glossy to suit me. What is the best way or the best thing to use to rub it out to a more Satin Finish.

steel wool or schotch brite will work well. Then
a good soaking in a tea saturated rag (or unpasturised apple cider )will give it a light brown color.

Try 0000 steel wool and use a light touch. You might also try some fine grit sand paper, say 600 and wet sand it. Whatever you use, don't go with a heavy grit or coarse sand paper, or steel wool. Working it heavy may take the finish right off, depending on what was used.
