I just got Mark Bakers vol.1 dvd of the long hunter series and he shows a pair of mocs he calls shoe pacs. Does anyone have a pattern and or instruction on making them that they can post on here? Thanks Buck B.T.W. I think it is a pretty good video if your intrested in the long hunter persona.

Baker shows you how to make them in another tape, but I don't remember which one. You don't use a pattern. I followed his instructions, and made a very nice pair.

Good deal,Thanks! How do you like them compared to some of the other styles? Thanks again Buck

I like them, but if the temp is in the 50's, they get hot. If the temp goes below 30, they are cold unless I'm walking. If I'm moving they do well into the low 20"s, upper teens. I stopped wearing them in deer stands, if it gets really cold. I did not allow enough room to wear more than one pair of wool socks in them.

Wick!...I would think that the official snow packs for your area would be FLIP FLOPS!... :rotf:

Sorry!....Just had to throw that in!...

Yeah, one would think, but contrary to popular myth, it can hit the teens here. Rare, but has, and I'm a candy-a$$ when it comes to cold sensitivity. If the temp drops below 70o, I'm looking for a long sleeved shirt.

Wick yer just plain getten old haw haw haw, real nice web site, I wish I had yer talent, ya got a real artistic eye

I musta been born old. I've always been cold sensitive. And I'm thinkin of moveing to TN in a year, or so. I'll bet that will be interesting.
