I would like to try my hand at making a pair of 1700 shoes for myself.
I have searched all over for 1700 shoe Pattern and cant find one. Can anyone help me?

You need the correct size of shoe "lasts". The shoe maker would amass a large set of these for the various sizes they would offer. Often these were hand carved... you might be able to fudge the carving part by getting a pair of shoes you want to copy, make a resin impression of the interior, then have a computer lathe copy the resin for you in wood. :hmm:

For the basics...get a copy of Foxfire 6, which has a very good section on making shoes, and it will explain the process, with photos, done several ways.
