Maybe premeasured charges in paper to eliminate messing with the horn and measure. Load the buck and/or ball separately?

Maybe premeasured charges in paper to eliminate messing with the horn and measure. Load the buck and/or ball separately?

I tried just loading the ball in paper on last week's video.
There is little more success, but not much:

Both are great videos and they sorta "highlight" why I never cared for buck-n-ball especially with paper cartridges.

I own the same Pedersoli Trade Gun. I am going to have to try to roll paper cartridges. I can't do buck and ball though, local range only allows slugs for muzzle loaders. Bird and buck aren't allowed.
