Shooting group in Houston area?

In the early 70's I had a 58 cal Zouve and a 36 cal revolver. The family started expanding and money and time being short in supply I had to postpone the hobby till later.

I am ready to get back in and am interested in doing the same rifle again.

I would like to see if there is a shooting group here in the Houston area so I can see the advances that probably have come along.

One place to check is the National Muzzleloading Rifle Assoc. website. I'm sure you'll find a club.

BTW, so I don't pester folks too much where is a good online place for beginner/old restarters to find the info to get past the dummy stage.
