Wish we could do that. If I told you the history of that rifle, you would probably have your doubts as to whether it was true or not. It was with the Donner party, was in the "Indian Wars" (more like a few skirmishes) with the militia for a year after the Whitman "massacre", (pretty tame massacre as far as massacres go) was in the presence of Joe Meek(s) on a trip from Oregon territory to St.Louis, and good stuff like that.
