I will be visitng my daughter in Antioch, Illinois over the August 25-26 weekend and I'd kinda like to visit a club for a shoot that is close to her house - about an hour, hour an a half, drive or so. (I realize that the 'Chicago' factor may add to that time.)
I've visited a bunch of web sites for different clubs, looked at the driving directions from the map web sites only to see that there isn't a schedule or a link for a club.
If there isn't a shootin' match available, how about a historical site or a pilgrim day at a rondevous? (I've noticed that the official tourist propaganda seems to overlook all of the interesting stuff.)
So I'm asking for help.
