WANTED Short Starter

I bought a couple of short starters like this years ago. Now I can’t find them for sale. Does anyone know who makes these?
I’d like one for 45/50 caliber and another for 50/54 caliber.

If you're not hung up on that shape; Two-Feathers on this forum makes a nice simple starter.

I do like that they are flat. I carry them on my bag strap and the flat sides are nice. Otherwise, I’m open to something else.

Take a round one and use a belt sander and flatten it. Then restain it.

A piece of wood and a dowel rod a couple un-mentionable cases for end of dowel and the short plug a belt sander, dremel tool with a round grinding ball bit to concave the ends of the cut down cases a finishing nail for pins and some epoxy 45 mins of labor and instant ball starter.

I make them using 2x2 block of walnut drill a hole for a length of brass or wooden dowel they last for tears

I have several hanging around I have made. Most are made from 3/8" hickory rod cut-offs. I don't use brass, nor are they caliber specific. If you want one, or more, PM me and we will make a deal.
