Anyone use a speed loader for their shotgun? If so what kind and where? I just purchased a 12 ga.

Thank you ahead of time for your imput. :v

I take old .12 ga plastic hulls and cut them off a little below the crimp. I have some black colored ones that i use for powder, and red and green ones i use for different sizes of shot. I use a cork with a piece of 15lb test fishing line run through it with a sewing needle and then a knot tied on the end so it don't come out of the cork and long enough to tie a knot in the other end and run a piece of electrical tape arond the hull to hold it in place. Then just pop the cork and you don't loose it, pour the powder, add a wad, pop the cork on the shot and pour it and add an overshot wad and cap. Ready to go. Takes less time to do than write it. I keep the powder in a right hand vest or coat pocket and the shot in the left side.

Very good idea! I'll try that and maybe even check my used brass in .45-70 to see if that might work too. Use my 454 casul brass for shot if it holds enough. I like your idea a lot!
