Should this flintlock pistol site be trusted?

Not only non-firing, but they can't be made to fire. They're just decorative display models, costume accessories, etc. Not real guns. Like a sword you'd buy at a costume shop.

I think their guns are made of wood and metal, not plastic, but they're not real locks and barrels that can actually shoot. Just prop/display pieces.
 
I personally own the Italian Flintlock Pistol - Pewter 18th Century.
All "metal" parts are pewter and the wood is cheap pine. just for display and that's it.
