I got a better picture of the finished results of my Ohio Vincent rifle that I built from TOW parts. This was my first bp rifle. I posted a picture before, but this one shows off the figure of the wood a little better. I used a Vinegar stain that I made from the instructions posted on an earlier thread. The photo was untouched. I didn't increase the contrast or change the color balance. The pewter forend cap reacted with the stain, so the stain didn't take very well for about a 1/4 inch behind the forend cap. Sorry about the duplicate posts. :sorry: I'm like a proud pappa. The weather is supposed to be nicer tomorrow, so I'm going to try to go sight it in. Can't wait to see how it shoots.
