Showing inside a bore

While looking at pistols and rifles that are pictured for sale on the forum, I occasionally see the inside of the bore. How are those pictures accomplished? Is it done with a borescope? Is it done by placing a very bright light where the nipple attaches to the barrel or where the touch hole is on a flintlock.
I’m pretty sure there are answers to this in the search if I just knew how to word the search. I tried three or four different ways and couldn’t find the answer.

Just be aware that a borescope exaggerates any flaws that otherwise you cannot see with just a light dropped down the bore.

The WMC bore pics you see looks like a bright and shiny bore with just the green light dropped down the bore. But in the spirit of complete honesty, I like using a borescope.

I have been thinking borescope. Is there a particular model that you like? I found some online that what they cost would purchase, another rifle or pistol!
