Sighting in my Traditions Hawken Kit

These kits catch a lot of flak online, but the performance doesn't look too bad to me. I'm starting with the .490 round all and .015 patching with 50 grains of swiss. It's a loose load, but nice for plinking

I’ve had numerous traditions and cva Guns. Every one of them shot better than I could. My pedersoli and custom guns shoot no better or worse than the traditions Guns at 2 or 3 times the price.

I own 3 traditions rifles. 2 deerhunters and a Tennessee.
I think my favorite one is my deerhunter 45 caliber. My best load is a .440 ball and a .010 cotton patch with 60 grains of 3f Old Ensyford.
