Just started shooting this pistol this past summer, really like the Black Powder thought of shooting, but I am curious about the cylinder conversions for this pistol. I know they make cylinders for Uberti and Pietta and they say you need to specify which brand. Does anyone know if either will work for the Sile Inc. brand pistol?

Sile was a US importer decades ago. Photos of the revolver would be most helpful, as well as the datecode (Roman numerals or two letters in a rectangle on the right side or bottom of the frame) and any manufacturer marks. It could be an Armi San Marco, Armi San Paolo, or any number of now-defunct Northern Italian manufacturers.

Even if it is a Pietta or Uberti, your revolver was not made using CNC machinery (~2002 and later) and all the conversion cylinders are made for the CNC guns. It would have to be fitted to the revolver and I doubt any of the cylinder manufacturers would guarantee it would work.

Regards,

Jim
