I'm planning a trip from KY to TX this summer. Are there any interesting historical sites I should check out. I'm interested in all history and even prehistoric sites/museums.
Thanks,
Ben

Glen Rose, state park, dinasor tracks.

San Antonio, the Alamo, take your hat off when entering or you will be told to do so.

Waco, Texas Rangers museum, not the baseball team

Dixie Gun Works in Union City, Tn. if it's on your way. It has lots of guns and a museum with lots of cool stuff in it. Tip Curtis Frontier Shop in Cross Plains,Tn. is another good spot.

War Between the States battlefields...

Chattanooga, Bryce's Crossroads, Vicksburg, Shiloh, them Tennessee River forts Grant took (I forget the names, up around the land between the lakes).

The Texas Ranger Museum in Waco TX.
