My progress w/ this BC has been slow for a couple of reasons, but it is getting done. The 46" bbl is pinned, the lockplate has been inletted and the lockbolts are installed along w/ the tang screw. The trigger plate, trigger and TG are all in along w/ the buttplate. The buttstock is rough shaped and shortly will be shaping the lower and upper forestocks. The Chambers Golden Age lock is a "natural" for a Bucks County LR...it fits right in, especially w/ the wrist.

This BC is being made from a blank and really can't understand why a Shuler type of BC isn't available as a precarve....I think it would be a big seller.

Looking good as usual Fred.Top notch for sure.your right about the lock.It looks like it was made for that rifle.
