This diminutive little English 28 gauge fowler would be perfect for a small woman or teen. The 29.5" barrel is half octagon/half round. It is Damascus. The bore has some grain, but nothing that would render it unsafe. Original nipple was mushroomed, so I removed it and replaced with a correct nipple I had in parts box. Stock is in overall very good condition, with small stress crack at lock screw, probably from over tightening. LOP is 12.5". $275 + Shipping.

Nice. Have you shot this gun any? If so. What kind of load? And I am guessing this was a full stock cut down. Maybe. No under rib.

The scroll mark on the barrel looks like a Belgium provisional proof mark , nothing else make sense to me , so the barrel may have been made in Belgium which was common with British guns of the period . Any other marks ?
