I am in the process of building a small rifle in 36 cal. What I need is a source for left hand flint type lock that measures aprx. 4 3/4 inch long by just over or 3/4 or under an inch. the rifle will be the same scale as an old T/C Senaca. It will be just used as a plinker.

I suggest a Chambers small Siler lock. It is right at 4 3/4" long x just under 7/8" tall. I would also buy it from Jims shop if at all possible.

If you're looking for a small lefthand lock, the only one out there is the small Manton by L & R.

According to Jim Chamber's web site he does NOT make a small siler flintlock in left handed, it is only right handed.
I am not sure who would carry a left handed one in a small design that would work for what you need. You may have to search different web sites tp find someone who does .

Stan Hollenbach makes a left hand, non-dickert style which may be small enough. Try his website...
