A 6" horn is going to hold a lot more powder than for 10-12 shots, unless you're shooting a very large bore (.58 or larger)

This is one of the smaller horns I put together

You may be better off with a small/flat horn, like this $10 (new) example:

Nope, but FWIW, I've never got a bad factory horn that was newly-made, so I wouldn't sweat it (YMMV, of course)

Besides, @ $10 with free shipping, how can you lose ?
