It's pretty small!
My grand father got this in Austria during WWI.It is approx. .055 cal. Yes it does shoot? The barrel folds forward for easy cleaning. Uses a cap to ignite the powder. Don't know much more about it, but I love it and will cherish it forever.

so it probably shoots a(1)granule of 1f and a #12shot pellet , for a full power load.... or is it just primer for a "load"
u might be able to patch that pellet with a punch out from a train/bus ticket...hehe

really nice work them miniatures  :hatsoff:

That'd make a good "throw down" if you ever had to shoot a mouse under questionable circumstances. :shocked2: :rotf:

Make sure the mouse is dead.Use a 45. I hear they
will charge when wounded..

It's a tiney Belgium pinfire pistol. I have one. I wonder if one can still find shells for it. A kid brought one to schoo, when I was a likttle boy, and shot a fly on the widow sill. The tiney pistol made quite a report which resulted in the pistol being consfiscated byh the teacher and returned to the boy's parents. I inherited mine from my father.

I have three of those little guys; bought them in the late 50s when I was stationed in Germany. They came as a cuff link and tie pin set!! Mine doesn't have the faux pearl grips, all the gun(s) is silver, maybe plated? Looks like the same size as yours, 1 and a half inches overall. I think I have seen them for sale SOMEPLACE, along with the pinfire blank ammo. I still have a few.....someplace. And they do make a very sharp CRACK when you touch one off.

2mm pin fire. I still find ammo for them now and again.
Nice looking piece.
