Is there a place to attach a strap at the top? Is the opening large enough to dispense 1f? Also how much powder would ypu say it holds?? I'm in NC also not far from you.

Hey Blackpowderart,
It's got a notch cut all around the spout about 2 inches from the spout mouth for the strap attachment, with space available for a staple if you'd like to add one. Also, I think it could dispense 1f, although I'm not sure because I've never tried 1f. It's about a quarter inch opening in the spout.

Unfortunately I don't think this one will work for me, a 1/4 inch opening seems too small. I have a flask that does everything except my schuetzen 1F and if i were to guess it would have a 1/4 inch opening. If you make these, I would be interested in purchasing one that will dispense 1F and I do not want a full size horn that you wear, I will likely just carry it in a pouch or coat pocket but do want the plug to be connected

I'll take calipers to it this evening, but I suspect its right about .25 . I'll look about altering it. I may be able to drill it wider and just fit a new spout plug.
Ok good idea I will also measure what I got and see how wide what i have that isnt working. That schuetzen 1F is the only 1F I have ever used and it seems rather large. I've been trying alot of different powders to try and get my 10ga to corporate to my liking. 1F may not be what I end up with, but I do want something that will work with it because I have been pouring from the bottle and it's just a matter of time before it drops or tips over. I'm usually shooting in the woods so my powder will be a goner.
The spout hole on this horn is just a hair over 1/4".
