Smoothbore Revolver

I was just watching a Colt Walker video on YouTube and started wondering if a big bore revolver like the Walker would be useful as a smoothbore. Any thoughts?

It could be quite handy for small game but I suspect it might not be ideal for swinging on moving targets because of the weight, they are truly heavy. To have a conversion cylinder with such a gun would make it subject to NFA 34 requiring registration and transfer taxes, don't want to go there.
