My wife and son gave me a .54 cal. T/C White Mountain Carbine back in '94 and I have never gotten it to group worth a darn. The trigger pull is not as smooth as my New Englander which shoots quite well so I thought that while it is too hot to shoot I might try to disassemble the lock and polish up the innards a might. Any suggestions, cautions, etc. I've never done this kind of thing before.
Thanks

I have no tips for you on smoothing up your lock. However,My New Englander had a horrid Trigger pull out of the box so I sent it back to T/C with a note telling what the problem was. They smoothed the trigger pull so that now it's perfect.Free of charge.
