Here's what appears to be the final batch of photos by Wulf!

I always say I use a router. Here's one ready for action.

Lars Arvidsson posted a picture of a Baltic Sledge lock and I took a picture of the screen and thought I'd see if I could make one like it.

The Miquelet 62 cal smooth bore and a spare lock

The spare was made in 1966

The "spare". Early engraving but after a little more practice I haven't gotten much better.

This is the last of my series of

what I have made from scratch except the barrels which were blanks and had to be breeched and swamped etc. Thankyou for your patience and a big thank you to Andy for posting for me in this department...

Thankyou all for the wonderful words and good to
hear from you Lars, appreciated your pictures and
help with the sear.

That is great work...thanks very much for posting.
I am wondering, is there any chance that we can see a photo of the insides of that baltic lock?

To answer some of your questions, one person pm'd me to ask if Wulf had any drawings for the shape of his stock, and T.C. asked about the inside of the Baltic Sledge. Here's Wulf's response:

Drawings?? I don't have or make drawings. When I see a picture in a book or magazine that strikes my interest I look through my scrap metal and wood and start sawing filing and drilling...The inside of the Baltic is bare with only wedge pins holding the M.S. and a spring with a "door catch" at the end that protrudes through the plate and holds the tail of the ****. and that is seared by a wedge that acts to "pry" it back in the lock...I don't have any pictures of the insides....When I saw this lock on the forum I took a photo of my screen and made it.

Thank you for the wonderful words...You gave the
sharing meaning....Wulf
