Sorry folks but there is no rule against using a modern recoil suppressor in the butt of a stock of a traditional muzzle loading firearm. In fact with our aging membership, it may be necessary to keep a person shooting who owns and uses a large caliber ML rifle.

Yes Dave, I agree with you sir. I believe the comment that was removed was directed toward his mention of a .308 cal modern rifle. I answered him in a PM.
I use these and I have recoil pads covered in leather on my 20's due to 3 shoulder surgeries. Nothing wrong with it at all!
 
Just a testament to the product itself.
I have one of these installed by Texas Gun Works in the mid 80's in my Pedersoli Double 58 Safari rifle.
Even with a large charge and a 440gr REAL - it is very manageable. These things work!
The price asked is HALF of what they are worth.
They are FANTASTIC!
 
Yes they are fantastic and they really work. I have been using some in my other guns since the late 80's and early 90's and they are fantastic. The steel tubes are sealed for life!
