Rifle is in excellent condition and comes with lee and dixie (brass) minie molds. Had it sold but guy ran short of cash. I don’t want to ship it as it’s too nice to get pummeled in trasit.

Too many guns get wrecked because people don't package them properly. I've been shipping guns for 40 years & have yet to have one damaged. By refusing to ship, you are shrinking your market dramatically close to Zero! Good luck!too many good guns become parts courtesy of usps, ups, fedex
true, but it’s a nice gun to keep alsoToo many guns get wrecked because people don't package them properly. I've been shipping guns for 40 years & have yet to have one damaged. By refusing to ship, you are shrinking your market dramatically close to Zero! Good luck!
my 1928 brno sporting mauser (full stock, butterknife bolt, double set triggers, spectacular wood and engraving .257 roberts) was mailed ups to get the odd 26 lpi checkering recut and hidden glass bedding by a great stockmaker. it returned with the stock crushed, wooden shipping box smashed and the trigger guard bent. Had to sue ups to get it restocked (same guy) and repaired ($2400) and to pay my legal fees ($750) which I won. Not worth shipping if they can’t be trusted to do their jobs well. I’d have much preferred to have kept the original stock although the stockmaker’s work was equally spectacular. Heard enough similar other stories of shipping horror that I want no part of. 20-30 years ago shippers seemed to do better work. I think perhaps that people take less pride in their work (probably because companies treat their workers like crap).Dang guys! He said he doesn't want to ship. Why keep asking? No is no.
well the other guy got his oar in the water first but if it doesn’t work out ill put it back for saleI live in Vermont and would like to be a back up if your sale falls thru. I have no problem driving that far.
