Ill try this again, original post was deleted due to the way it was worded, just finished building 3 new hunting pouches, replicas built to originals from Grants book and a leather haversack, hope this will help motivate a few of you who are considering building your first pouch and help with some ideas of what can be done, all 3 are made from 5 oz. fine commercial grade bag leather with various straps and options, hand sewn using double stranded waxed saddlers thread, double needle saddle stitched, all have either 2 or 3 internal and external pockets, solid brass or hand made twisted steel rings, brass and pewter buttons, leather and cotton web straps, just some ideas of options for your bags gents,

Cliff, all buttons, snaps are'nt very correct for our time period, leather on the smooth finish bags is cow hide, haversack is buffler.
