This stuff is from some of our monthly club shoots and I bought the patch knife at a booth at the rendezvous in Cantril, IA. I've been wanting a patch knife for a while since I always thought they looked cool. So here goes.....

A guy I know in our club from SE Iowa made this powderhorn that I won at another friend from the club's shoot in Floris, IA. You can't tell in the picture, but the horn is a little on the small side but holds 27 measures of 75 grains of powder so I'll probably use it for hunting as a day horn. It pours better than any horn I've ever seen and has an antler plug with a cord attached to it so you don't lose the plug. I can't remember what place I got at that shoot but it was a blanket prize.

I bought this patch knife from the vendor at the rendezvous. Picked 'er up for $20 so I felt like this was a good buy. It's too bad I didn't have more money or I would have bought a new bag because he had some great bags for sale, too.

I won these shooting sticks by getting 3rd place at our May shoot in Colony, MO. I was in a 3-way tie with 2 other guys but made a terrible shot on the tie breaker target by being like 3 in. off the bull. These just may come to the deer woods with me come November because this could give me a little more confidence for those 75+ yard shots. I don't know if you guys can remember, but I also won a .58 CVA Hawken at a shoot in November off a raffle. I've shot the gun and it seems to shoot good but it's still a CVA so my confidence with it is limited... :shake:

 Keep on shootin' good and you'll get your whole gear list filled.

Nice stuff! Don't be too afraid of the CVA... My kids' rifle is a CVA, and it's a heck of a gun. Accurate as my Renegade any day. Of course, quality seems to be wavering up and down, but give yours a workout. You never know!!
