Found a RH 23" .50cal smooth bore barrel made by Investarms.
Got one ordered this AM. Kind of forces me to follow @TDM and @Snake Pleskin with a Investarms Hawken build.
Its next stop is at Bob Hoyt's shop to hopefully get opened up to 28GA or its safe max depending on how deep the factory holes are drilled.

Arrived today. As new condition with zero blems mentioned in ad. Ad had pix showing “.45” with verbiage of being “.50”. Was stamped “.50”. Now debating with myself to leave as .50” to simplify loading up to go to a shoot vs. having Bob Hoyt ream/sleeve to 28GA. Have decided to leave it factory blued so that it is visually different from how I'll complete the kit.

ETA: corrected "team" to "ream"
Notifying @TDM and @Snake Pleskin that it has arrived.

Leave at .50. You won’t be sorry.
You're right. That is a fantasy that just isn't grounded in reality.
K.I.S.S. is the way to go.
Getting it reamed/sleeved is just more expense that would add up to be more than the next kit that I want to get which is another step down the road to the end game goal of a Jim Kibler Colonial American Longrifle.
