I was heading home from my yearly deer hunt when I saw this beautiful sight. It was a herd of Elk! Being the photographer and keeping a camera at the ready I shot this.

I was about 600 yrds away. I could have easily done a sneak. Elk season doesn't open for ML for a week and these fellas were in a no shoot zone. They know when they have it good. :grin:

:shake: well now ya ruined it! I see that pic figured you sneaked right up near em and snapped a quick close up :grin: .... :( you must have some lense! :haha: only things I ever see & recognized at 600+ yds was the sun..and the moon..(full!) :haha:

I'm actually aiming at that middle cow. Love Elk and thats some fine eating right there. Course I wonder if one of those electric scooters would bother em much cause I'd havta close the distance a tad. :grin: :haha:
 
Na, just put in stealth mode and strap a few bushy branches to the front of it. :grin: I've seen some of your pictures, I know it must have stealth mode.

Or better yet, drape a brown blanket over ya and call it a "cow". Moo as you go forward. They'll never know the difference. :grin:
