Contemplating Marmite caused me to reflect on it's similarity in appearance to Sorgham, I think that's partially why I want to try the stuff. Do any of you faithful "Sons of the South" know how far back Sorgham dates? I'm interested in period sources if any are know.

I've actually boild Sorgham down to make "Sorgham candy" once. (it wasn't pleasant )
