Scots Jim, Lodgewood Mfg. in Whitewater, Wi. It;s like walking into Banermans in the 1890's. They have 100's of M1816 parts. See their website. Also, I'd suggest S&S Firearms out of NY. I've had good luck with both. When needing new or original parts for restoration work. G.S.

Excellent recommendations - both Lodgewood and S & S - I agree.

I have to say that due to previous "less than good" experiences over the last 40 years, I would leave Dixie out of the consideration when looking for original antique parts. They used to be the only source but now they trail others by a fair distance.
