Does anyone know a cheap source of sheep horn for a knife handle? I need a piece about 1" x 1 1/4" by about 6". Thanks

Does GOAT horn work for you?
I got some trims and 1 full horn from the base up.
Might be able to help you out. I made a few powder measures from a couple of the trims...tough stuff! pretty much solid and smells like goat!

PM me if you like!

I thought goat horn was hollow, like cowhorn. I need something solid. I can get water buffalo horn but I wanted sheep horn because it is PC but the cost is too high. I can use beech wood- I guess.

by far the BEST place ive seen to get sheep horn is alpha knife supply they have good photo's of the section that you will get and alot of them are already stabilized and processed, not much work needed on your end. Super good guys to work with and very professional.
